Sunday Chipotle-Titus hit the smooth, fast single track in Morrison at Battle the Bear. Wesley Geer started off first, riding junior women & coming in 2nd. Toni Geer & Carol Newsome were out on course next. Carol came in 2nd in the expert 40+ women with a strong ride. Toni ripped up the sport field to win the 40+ women. Drew Geer brought home a 6th place in the expert masters men.
The course was really fast & fun with 2 new hills this year. There were long sections of foot wide single track snaking through the grass that we navigated at 25+ mph. My Carbon X would pick up 50 meters on every downhill as it was so buttery smooth. Those of you who know my descending know it has to be the bike & not the rider. I never catch anyone on a downhill.
