The 2008 Mountain States Cup kicked off in Fruita Colorado April 12th & 13th with 2 races. Day one was a time trial - uphill for 6 miles on technical single track. Jane Finsterwald & Sheri Boltz jumped in with the top women, racing an open field against the best US pro racers. Jane finished 26th & Sheri 40th. Jack Boltz picked up 16th racing 40+
Sunday brought the XC over the Western Rim. The womens field was the largest in years with over 60 women entered. Jane won the 40+ for the first 2008 Chipotle-Titus win! Sheri Boltz was 5th & Liliana Perez was 7th; great showings for our newest team members. Heidi Godsil was 7th in the women 30-39. Another new team member, Jack Boltz finished 6th in the men's 50+ field.

the next Mountain States Cup is Chalk Creek in Nathrop. The Tour of Gila is coming up the same weekend - good roadie training.
