MTB Tip #1 - Remember your shock settings

The Chipotle-Titus rosters contains more than 400 racing years of experience! That is amazing. I would like to collect some of that experience for some knowledge sharing. We all have some little tricks that seem so obvious to us, but other riders may never have heard of. Chamois cream comes to mind - I can't even tell you how many new riders I talk to that have never heard of this. If everybody on the planet already knows it, fine. If not, it may help a bit. Send me some of your simple short tips about riding, racing,  bikes & a preferably a photo that illustrates the point.

Tip #1: Save your shock settings. You may change your shock settings for race conditions, but you have a base setting. Write these setting with a Sharpie pen or grease pencil directly on the shock. Also write them on the inside of your toolbox. Remember to check your shock pressure often (though the Fox shocks do seem to hold the pressure for a long time). If you have a shock rebuilt in the shop, they are likely to change all the settings as well so you need to know where to reset them.
