Transalp - the adventure starts

Our epic adventure is already hit a snag. Our plane, containing the geers & dooleys has crashed - some German airline that starts with a "L" . Fortunately it had not left the ground, nor had it even started moving - so we survived the event. The gate guy actually crashed the gate into the plane. Anyway we are on a flight about 6 hours later. 

The crisis is that all our bags, bikes & equipment are stuck on the crashed plane & won't be coming with us (I already miss my Carbon X). We are really hoping they will get to Germany by Friday. If not, Gouge is already there & Hogan's are over the atlantic. Each has a spare bike, though they may be a bit small. We will make them fit & we will be on the start line!
