The Schwalbe Racing Ralph 2.1 rear & 2.25 front @ 26psi UST were very fast
The weather finally cooperated & the 3rd short track went off with perfect conditions. Angry storm clouds threatened us all evening but the track stayed dry. The course was very fast due to all the recent rain. Tonight's track was longer (3:30 per lap) & had less 180s than prior versions. The turns were mostly full speed chicane type turns & a bit of off camber technique work thrown in for fun. With all the rain the course is overgrown & it was tricky at full speed to even see the line as it twisted & turned through the vegetation.
Chipotle Titus had a good showing with Drew Geer, Jamie Kilkoyn, Justin Green, John Bliss & Davis Haberkorn all vying for position in the Men's B race. In the ladies open Karen Hogan & Toni Geer put in strong performances in the always superfast field. Mike Hogan lined up in the elite Men's A field & hung on for a top 10 finish behind national short track champion Jeremiah Bishop. Bishop toyed with the field, setting an unreal pace.
8 starts
next up: Kilkoyn & Geer are racing the MSC Wildflower Rush in Crested Butte this weekend
