Tornado warnings and black clouds covered Fort Collins as the New Belgium Brewery STXC racing started, but things only got better from there. The course drains water quickly and there were only a few standing mud puddles. All race categories went off as planned, as well as the season wrap up raffle, with tons of excellent prizes, with the grand prize being a NBB fat tire cruiser, outfitted with local custom made racks. Jason, Laura and Casey from NBB have created a great community race and grown this local NBB series into a famous Colorado favorite. Huge thanks for all their efforts and 4 years of success with their local ST series.
Mike and the Titus trailer were there with a 2010 quiver of Titus bikes for racers to demo. I was lucky enough to grab one of the LAST available demo bikes in the rack, it was Ti 29 HT, full XT build with fresh Candy pedals. The HT 29r was perfect fit for that ST course, even though my legs could not push that bike to it's limits.

New Belgium Short Track
Ward Baker met Mike Wirth from Titus & raced a Rock Star Tuesday in the final "New Belgium Short Track". This is the first race on the 29er for the team - maybe the first ever as the Rock star is brand new!
