I just had to come over to Switzerland to show these guys how superior Justin's Chocolate Hazelnut is to Nutella. I spent the day on the UCI track in Aigle Switzerland with a team of juniors. We were coached by the world champion & world record holder, Sarah Hammer. I'm pretty sure I was the fastest 50 year old nut on the track today.
I'm actually over here coaching, wrenching & directing a team of 8 USA junior MTB racers. They are riding fabulously against the best riders in the world! You can follow them @ http://ellierides.blogspot.com/
Spent yesterday at the Swiss Racer Biker Cup UCI races with our USA junior team. On the pre-ride I tested out our white kits. This is the most technical mountain bike course I have ever seen. I crashed more in one day than I have crashed in 5 years combined, including endos in the mud. The kits hold up just fine. The mud does wash out. Got to watch Julian Abselon race afterwards, in a white kit, & he did not get a speck of dirt on it. That seems impossible. He just floats over everything with seemingly no effort. Amazing!
Tomorrow we have a long ride above Champery Switzerland. In typical euro fashion there will be tons of very steep vertical & endless views (& cows, with bells). I'll have to leave it up to Mike to keep the blog up to date for a couple of weeks.
