Winter Park Series #2

Keith Sanders

Jack Boltz

Lance Loehding

Heidi Godsil

Scott Pavlakovic

It was a great day in Winter Park on Sunday. The CT team had riders competing in nearly every class. This was a new Cross Country Super Loop Course that challenged riders every mile and was a lot of fun to race. The races in WP are now being covered by VeloNews and can be viewed here. http://www.velonews.com/article/79057 It is amazing that these races consistently draw more than 600 riders.

Suffice to say that everyone did well. Karen Hogan was 5th in the Women's Pro Field. Heidi Godsil rocked to 1st in the Expert 30-39 group. Sheri Boltz was 3rd in the Expert 40-49 field. Mike Hogan was 10th and Thomas Dooley was 27th in the Men's Pro field. Yes it is true that Thomas rode over the night before the race, slept at Hogan's house, raced on Sunday morning, then rode home. Let's hope he is getting fit for Trans Alps. Scotty Pavlacovic made his debut in the Expert 30-34 group finishing 14th. Jamie Kilcoyne was 8th in his group. The big race was in the Expert 45-49 with Mark Gouge and Keith Sanders finishing 1-2 and Justin Green in 8th. Gary Thacker was 5th and Jack Boltz was 11th in the mens 50+. Gary also had a nice shot of him that made VeloNews. You can see it here. http://www.velonews.com/photo/79061 I am sure there were more epic Chipotle Titus performances out there that I missed. Great job everyone. See you in Breckenridge for the Firecracker 50.
