Happy Thanksgiving

It is snowing in Winter Park and the forecast calls for snow in the front range as well. Hooray. Perhaps we will finally see some moisture on a cyclocross course in Colorado this year. Keep doing your snow dances.

Last weekend there were a few that got out to race. Saturday was down in Colorado Springs and Sunday was in Golden for the G Men Cross. Corky Grimm from Green Mountain Sports and his crew set a great course. Gary Thacker and Justin Green were out in the 45+ race. Jamie Kilcoyne and Mike Hogan rode the 35+ race. Jamie had a tremendous start shooting into 3rd wheel at the hole. We are still trying to figure out what he had for breakfast. Once again, Karen Hogan rode the race of the day finishing 2nd in the Women's Open field. Results can be found here: http://www.americancycling.org/Results/2008ResultsCross.aspx?RacePK=230

Forecast: One more weekend of front range cross is on tap down at Chatfield and Bear Creek. December 7 is the Colorado State CX Championships over at Arapaho Ridge HS in Boulder. Then the finaly December 11-14 the USA Cycling National CX Championships at Tiffany Springs Park in Kansas City, MO. Get ready to rumble. This is going to be a great finish to a great season. Lets hope it looks like this...
