Just a quick update for you and the rest of the team. I raced the Tennessee State Cyclocross Championships this past weekend in Memphis. The turnout was a little low due to the fact that Memphis is on the opposite end of the state from the majority of racers in the state but it was the Championships after all. I raced in the SingleSpeed category and finished third. I was hoping for better but you don’t always get what you wish for. Ten minutes after the finish of that race I was off and rolling again in the ‘A’ race of the Masters 35+, still on my SS. I was pretty tired from the first race but I couldn’t help but to suffer as much as possible. It paid off it as it came down to a 1-2 race between me and one other guy with the rest of the field about a half lap down on us. With a little luck on my side I ended up winning the race and collected another Championship jersey for the team. Two podiums in less than two hours… not a bad day.
