This weekend's racing featured races from Boulder Racing and Alpha Cross. Both were the first in their respective series.
Saturday was up in Longmont at the Xilinx course. Brian from Boulder Racing laid out a pretty technical, twisty turny, off camber, jungle cross course. It was a fun course, you really cant go bad there. Justin's had a few guys out to race with Mike Hogan getting 6th and Jamie Kilcoyne 11th. Both had front row starting positions and raced with big nuts on their chest! Hank Harris battled some technical issues in the 35+4s and finished way behind where he typically does. The 45+ group brought out the big guns with Gary Thacker, John Bliss and Justin Green sporting the big nuts. Honestly, it is an unfair advantage that we have big nuts on our chest. I hope that no one discovers the unfair advantage it offers. Gary finished 14th, John was 20th and Justin 21st. Solid starts to their seasons. If I missed anybody's finish out there, let me know. Sunday' race at Alpha cross did not have as many folks there but Hank Harris finished a solid 3rd in the M 35+ field. Way to go Hank!
Next up Frisco Cross.
