Kappius riders represented the team well in this year's national championships. In the Masters Men 45-49 category, Mike Hogan took first, his second cross country national championship, and 7th national championship in any category. John Bliss placed 16th in the Master Men 50-54, while Jack Boltz took 14th in the Master Men 55-59. In the Master Women 45-49, Karen Hogan came in with a solid 3rd place finish despite tearing a knee tendon in May. Michelle Bliss also finished 6th in the same category.
